Call for Artists deadline August 30! PHOTO SHOW UNDER THE INFLUENCE: Ansel Adams & His Legacy Avenue 9 Gallery, Chico, California, invites you to submit photographs for this juried group exhibition. The exhibit will explore the many ways contemporary photographers have been in dialog with his work. "Under the influence" runs October 17 November 22 in conjunction with California State University Chico's celebration of Adams' art, featuring the exhibition "Nature and Spirit: the Landscape Photographs of Ansel Adams" from Alison Jaques' (granddaughter) collection. This celebration will include a series of talks by guest speakers Michael Adams (son), Byron Wolfe, Linda Connor and Tom Patton. The exhibitions and talks will be widely publicized in conjunction with "Artoberfest," Chico's month-long celebration of the arts.For Prospectus e-mail: ave9mail-ansel@yahoo.com.
