Kathleen Wobie is a founding member of the Melrose Art Gallery in Melrose, Florida, a signature member of Plein Air Florida (PAF), and maintains a studio in the Icehouse Gallery in McIntosh, Florida. She has served as an instructor at the John Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, North Carolina, and has had a residency at the Vermont Studio Center, Johnson, Vermont. An avid plein air painter, she has participated in the Annual Invitational Epcot Art in the Garden Plein Air Days in Orlando, Florida, and has been a Sunshine Magazine award winning festival poster artist. Her art is in numerous collections including that of the University of Florida.
