Ron Schlorff of Pollock Pines, California, pursued studies in both art and biological sciences at Humboldt State University, Arcata. He received his Master of Science with a Natural Resources Conservation specialty in l978. This background prepared him to develop as a painter of landscapes and wildlife subjects. He has been an enthusiastic participant in plein air events and has competed in Sonoma, San Luis Obispo, and Desert Plein Air in La Quinta. His work can be seen at the American West Gallery, Billings, Montana, and the California Collector’s Gallery in Kentfield, California.
