A native of Chico, I have seen and traveled through most of the continental U.S. as a military dependent. My love of drawing and pencils and paper and paint started early and served as a way to scan all that I saw. There are lots of stories to be told in landscape: the geographical, historical, the romantic. I try to have a sense of what the specific place has to say.

I graduated from the California College of Arts and Crafts, and completed my Master's in Painting at CSUC. I have taught and exhibited both regionally and locally.
