Donald Neff

San Jose, California

Donald Neff, Merced Green, 9 x 12" acrylic

Donald Neff, an Oregon native, spent childhood years in Pasadena, California and Eastern Texas. Drawing and painting have been interests since childhood. After completing college, Neff established a successful computer science career. Now retired, he devotes all of his energies to his art. His main subjects come from the San Francisco Bay area where he lives. Neff considers his oil and acrylic paintings to be realist in style, a product of his love for nature. Neff has had one-man shows at such institutions as the Carnegie Museum in Oxnard, California, and Ambassador Gallery in Pasadena, California. Neff’s art is featured in the book How did you paint That? 100 ways to paint Seascapes, Rivers, & Lakes.

His web site is at www.donaldneff.com.
