Aldean Keefer, a long term resident of northern California, took up painting as a serious endeavor in l993. In 1994, she and her husband took to the road in their RV; this gave Keefer the opportunity to practice landscape painting in a variety of areas and moods. Essentially self schooled, she honed her skills through interaction with fellow artists and visits to galleries and museums while travelling the Western United States. Her paintings have been exhibited at Johns-Manville West Coast Corporation Headquarters, California Northern School of Law, and the Paradise Public Library, among other venues.
