Third Annual Plein Air Painting Extravaganza

"Picture Your Valley "

Artists will paint in their choice of 18 gardens in Chico and vicinity over a period of three three-day week-ends:

March 25, 26, 27; April 3, 4, 5; April 8, 9, 10 (9AM-3PM). .

We love to paint with our friends, old and new, in the fresh air.

• Three long weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), plus some "rain check" extra painting days;
• Wonderful town and country places;
• An invitational tea at which hosts and other collectors can meet paint-out participants and view their art;
• Guaranteed inclusion of one painting or more in the "Picture Your Valley" group exhibit slated for May 5-July 23.  Fee: $30 for paint-out, tea, and exhibition ($25 for applications received by March 1)

Paint Out participants are guaranteed the inclusion of at least one work in the show. Enrollment in the paint-out will allow you to paint any or all dates including the rain check days. .

May 5-July 23 "Picture Your Valley" group show with a May 5 5-8pm Reception.

May 20 "Picture Your Valley" Invitational tea. 2006 plein air Paint Out artists may bring matted and framed works, both from the Paint Out and others. This is a special opportunity to bring together small groups of artists and potential patrons.

$20 application fee for exhibition only. 

The group exhibit, "Picture Your Valley,"is open to other artists in a variety of media, 2-D and 3-D.
