An additional prize was awarded by Plein Air Magazine--a coveted half-page color ad in their gorgeous spread. It was won by Hans Kegler, who also won an Honorable Mention in the Quick-Draw Paint-Out. Way to go, Hans! A double-whammy!

Finally...a most fun event: The "People's Choice" vote.
We had a one-day exhibition in the gallery during which the silent auction began--it ended the following day in front of the Hotel Diamond Hotel where we had the award of prizes and the live auction. Would you believe that zillions of people came through the gallery that day, feasting their eyes and happy to hear they could participate in the "People's Choice" vote. The winner by a long shot was Chico's own Valerie Payne.
